She's a great teacher and the classes are very topical and interesting rather than typical linear courses. Joined a trip to Los Patios in Puerto de Santa Maria in April 2024; had am amazing time with some fantastic and authentic experiences which would be difficult to create as a tourist on your own. A bit nervous as I did not know any of the students when I arrived. No need to worry. What a welcoming group. Instantly part of the group and went on to dance the night away. The lessons were mostly in English with a few Spanish words and counting. Very achievable and fun. The dance was broken down into easy steps and everyone had a great time. The teachers were very welcoming and it was a very low-pressure environment. I’ve really enjoyed Monday Spanish classes with Elena and her ‘poco a poco’ relaxed and informative approach. In addition to improving my understanding of the language I’ve learned a lot more about Spain and its culture particularly Madrid and northern Spain which Elena obviously knows well.
